Fancy footwork takes you on a path unknown, So often I lead you astray, Now I lead you home to my sacred place, A place of liberated will, But you are lost where I am found, I am free where you are bound, Still air, still breath, still standing... Grains of time cascading through my mind, When you pick me up as I fall a-part of me is blinded by how you look at me, How those looks could kill, But now there’s darkness in my soul, I am naked, you are whole, Still air, still breath, still standing... Bound in your mold, Doing what you’re told, Deaf to the unheard sounds, the unspoken words, Perhaps my subtlety is lost on you And your safe way of living, Can’t help myself, I’ll sit, I’ll wait, I’ll be forgiving... You whisper sweet nothings that ring in the breeze, I’m weak in the knees, Only to realize that this dis-ease is Your strength in being arm’s length, You don’t ‘mind the gap’ in our love unfulfilled, Should I stay or should I go? Against the flow, the ebb, oh I don’t know! Still air, still breath, still standing... Our ocean is just a blue abyss, Is this my final kiss to your habitual creature, always a preacher, never a teacher? Isn’t it strange that you’re constant only in how you don’t change? I am soaring while you drown, The weight of love just brings me down, My wish is your commanding, No supply for demanding, I’m taking off, you’re landing, Perfection notwithstanding, Still air, still breath, still standing... Still!

The trouble with Hari is she’s smart Has iron will and a rebel heart Mother tells her what not to do “Don’t you play with paints - go to school” But all Hari thinks of is her art She makes giant pictures in the sand She uses whatever is at hand Images of Krishna, Arjuna Characters from Bhagavad-Gita The mythical tales of India land Lakshmi Auntie lives just down the way She sees Hari’s drawings everyday She pays a surprise visit To sit down with Ma and Pa Tell them Hari’s head is in the clouds “I have seen this kind of thing in the past At this rate, she’ll marry out of caste You’ve got to do something soon To stop this bad behaviour Or else your good fortunes will not last” And Hari doesn’t know what to do Arjuna’s struggle is Hari’s too Why is it she cannot follow through “I wish that Arjuna fashioned me into his arrow so that he can shoot me high above my life, and all at once, I can be true” The trouble with Hari is she’s smart Has iron will and a rebel heart Hari heard what Krishna had to say Like Arjuna, finally made her way Now her works adorn the Taj Mahal The trouble with Hari is she’s far From the only butterfly in this jar When the Great Lord Krishna snaps the lid Gives you freedom like a little kid Tell me, my friend: what then will you start?

Save Me 05:10
I am a daughter, think of me as a tree, With roots of grandmothers and mothers, Then save me. I am a daughter, think of me as a tree, With roots of grandmothers and mothers, Then save me. Through the eyes of our elders, Evolution, like earth’s revolution, circles history, Tracing the past with real life experience, Real time, life line, our story, A pillar of strength, Foundation for our creation, She knows her so-called place And yet constantly carves out her own space, Nurture in her being, Grandmother nature, all-knowing, all-seeing. Threads of origin woven under the earth, Clinging to ages-old soil at birth, Born from, and released, back to the root, In between is the fruit... Through the eyes of the mother, She is a link, a bridge to who we are, where we come from, who we might be in the future, A provider of love, of life, of sustenance, Of support for her own daughters to be what they want to be, To feel, to act as they will, but always with respect, and be respected in return. That is what she yearns for... Through the eyes of our future, New breath, new life on this earth, Innocence at birth, Dreaming of who they’ll be, imagining what they’ll see, Flying free, life’s reverie, A footprint in the sand with the tide will disappear, Who they are, how they live, What they do in the now and here is what will shape the lives of everyone they touch and see, their destiny. ...Seeds that form the root that hold the tree, branching out with leaves and flowers that fruit, then drop their (seeds)...

Hare Shiva 05:56
Here today, and gone tomorrow Leave the joy, embrace the sorrow If all destroyed is made anew Then why can’t I let go of you? Trembling on the edge of madness Waste away all trace of sadness Till all you leave behind is truth Then why can’t I let go of you? Hare Shiva, Mahadeva Hare Shiva Shakti Hare Shiva, Mahadeva Hare Shiva, help me Tell me life is neverending Battered heart, uncomprehending Tell me that the soul is free Then tell me why it still hurts me Tell me that it’s all illusion Let me drown in my confusion Existence takes unearthly form And I am left behind to mourn Hare Shiva, Mahadeva Hare Shiva Shakti Hare Shiva, Mahadeva Hare Shiva, help me Om Mahadeva, Om Shiva Shakti Om Mahadeva, Shiva Shakti Om

Eleven! 03:12
It's not hard to count to eleven Just try eight-plus-three Or maybe four-plus-seven Sure sounds good to me Can you teach me to count to eleven In your native tongue? Maybe we'll do it together Could be kind of fun If I learn to speak your language I could understand Your thought and feelings and problems I could lend a hand And we can help everybody And learn their language too And we could all work together Building something new People want to keep us divided Words can do that too If we can't understand each other But we'll show them Cause you and I can count to eleven In your language or mine And we can understand each other And things will work out fine
